The New York Yankees had a successful 2024 season as they finished with a record of 94-68 and won the American League East.
After missing the postseason in 2023, the Yankees found themselves back in the playoffs as they made a run to their first World Series since 2009.
Although the Yankees lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers, they built some momentum that they hope to take into the 2025 season.
This offseason, the Yankees lost outfielder Juan Soto but acquired starting pitcher Max Fried, relief pitcher Devin Williams, outfielder Cody Bellinger and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt.
A possible hint has been dropped about another player, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who could potentially join the Yankees at some point.

Guerrero plays for the Toronto Blue Jays but can become a free agent after this season, and there have been some trade rumors circulating about him due to failed extension talks.
While the rumors are just rumors at this point, Guerrero liking a picture of himself in a Yankees uniform could stir up some excitement.
Guerrero has played all six seasons of his MLB career with the Blue Jays.
In 2024, the first baseman played 159 games and batted .323 with 30 home runs, 103 RBIs and a .940 OPS.
Although the Yankees are trying to replace some of Soto’s production with Goldschmidt and Bellinger, adding Guerrero could take their lineup to a whole new level.
