The Atlanta Braves made the postseason for the seventh straight season after finishing with a record of 89-73 and coming in second place in the National League East.
Although the Braves suffered multiple injuries to some of their star players, they still made the playoffs.
The Braves were swept in the wild-card series by the San Diego Padres, but they will look to redeem themselves in 2025 and keep their team healthy throughout the season.
One of the major injuries the Braves suffered in 2024 was the torn ACL of their star outfielder, Ronald Acuna Jr.
Acuna gave an update on his injury and how his recovery is coming along.
“Ronald Acuna Jr. says he estimates that his left knee is at ’90-95 percent’ after tearing his ACL last May,” B/R Walk-Off wrote on their ‘X’ account.

Acuna Jr. came into the league in 2018 with the Braves and has played all seven seasons of his MLB career with the team.
After playing only 49 games in 2024 due to his ACL injury, Acuna Jr. batted .250 with four home runs, 15 RBIs, and a .716 OPS.
Acuna Jr. got off to a slow start to the season before his injury, and the Braves hope that he gets back to his MVP-level numbers in 2025.
In 2023, when Acuna Jr. won the MVP award, he played in 159 games, where he batted .337 with 41 home runs, 73 stolen bases, 106 RBIs, and a 1.012 OPS.
The Braves won six straight NL East titles before coming in second in 2024, and if Acuna Jr. can stay healthy in 2025, they like their chances to take the division title once again.
