The Colorado Rockies reside in the National League West division with powerhouse teams such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Being in this division has not treated the Rockies well as they have not won a division title in the last 30+ seasons.
With a record of 57 wins and 93 losses in 2024, the Rockies have clinched 6th consecutive losing seasons.
The Rockies get one of their starting pitchers back on Monday to try and finish the season positively.
According to Rockies Club Information, they have reinstated RHP Antonio Senzatela from the 60-day injured list and optioned RHP Jake Bird to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Senzatela is scheduled to make his season debut with the Rockies on Monday after being reinstated from the injured list.
He only pitched 2 games in the 2023 season due to an elbow sprain before getting Tommy John surgery last July.
In his injury-shortened campaign in 2023, Senzatela had an 0-1 record with a 4.70 earned run average with 4 strikeouts in 7.2 innings pitched.
Senzatela has had 2 winning seasons in his career since coming into the league with the Rockies in 2017.
During his rookie season, he posted a 10-5 record in 36 games with a 4.68 earned run average with 102 strikeouts in 134.2 innings pitched.
Pitching in Colorado with the elevation typically causes inflated statistics with pitchers, which makes it hard to judge them solely on their numbers.
The Rockies will look to Senzatela to provide a spark on Monday when they take on the Diamondbacks at Coors Field.
They will hope to end the season strong and carry that momentum into the 2025 season.
