In the span of 6 days, the Mets scored 6 runs in the 8th against the Atlanta Braves, 5 runs in the 5th against the Milwaukee Brewers, 4 runs in the 9th against the Brewers, and 5 runs in the 8th against the Philadelphia Phillies.
All of these games have been huge wins for the Mets, and they currently hold a 1-0 series lead over the Phillies in the National League Division Series.
The Mets are having an incredible stretch to start off the 2024 postseason, and they are looking to appear in their first National League Championship Series since 2015.
Game 2 against the Phillies will be played on Sunday before heading back to New York for game 3.
If the Mets are able to win game 2, they will have 2 opportunities to clinch the series win at home in front of their fans.
