The Milwaukee Brewers are having another great season as they lead the NL Central by 9 games over the Chicago Cubs sporting a record of 84 wins and 62 losses.
As with many teams on a season-to-season basis, the Brewers are also dealing with the injury bug with key players in their lineup.
The Brewers needed to get production elsewhere with former MVP Christian Yelich currently on the 60-day IL.
20-year-old phenom Jackson Chourio picked up that production as he continues a hot rookie campaign.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Chourio is flashing a rare combination of both power and speed.
Chourio joins the short list of players to have a 20/20 season at the age of 20 years old or younger.

He joined the likes of only Mike Trout in 2012 and Vada Pinson in 1959 to achieve this accomplishment.
The Brewers rookie standout currently has 20 home runs to go along with 20 stolen bases in the 2024 season.
Another impressive stat is that Chourio has only been caught stealing 6 times on his path to 20 stolen bases.
Along with the home runs and stolen bases, Chourio also holds a .272 batting average with 71 runs batted in and 126 total hits on the season.
With Yelich out for the season, the Brewers are going to need Chourio to keep up his production as the 2024 postseason approaches if they want to contend for a World Series title.
The Brewers are hopeful that their impressive young rookie can continue to carry his team to the playoffs for years to come.
