
The Cleveland Guardians evened up the American League Division Series against the Detroit Tigers with a win on Thursday.
On the brink of elimination, the Guardians edged the Tigers by a score of 5-4 to force game 5 on Saturday.
David Fry was the hero for the Guardians as he pinch hit for Kyle Manzardo in the 7th inning and hit a 2-run home run to take a 4-3 lead.
He also added an insurance run from a sacrifice bunt in the 9th, which ended up being the winning run as the Tigers scored once in the bottom of the 9th.
