The Cleveland Guardians bounced back with a win on Thursday to even up the American League Division Series against the Detroit Tigers.
After back-to-back shutout losses in games 2 and 3, the Guardians finally broke through on the scoreboard to defeat the Tigers 5-4 and force a decisive game 5.
Game 5 was scheduled to be played on Saturday at 8:08 Eastern Time, but some changes have been made.
According to Cleveland Guardians on ‘X,’ due to possible inclement weather, game 5’s start time has been moved from 8:08 Eastern Time to 1:08 Eastern Time.

Major League Baseball made the decision on Friday that the game time will be moved to earlier in the day to ensure it can be completed.
The winner of the huge game 5 will move on to the American League Championship Series to take on the New York Yankees.
Both of these teams haven’t made the American League Championship Series lately as the Guardians last made it in 2016, while the Tigers last made it in 2013.
The American League Central showdown was originally supposed to be a dramatic night game, but it will now be a dramatic day game instead.
Also announced on Friday, the expected pitching matchup for game 5 includes Matthew Boyd throwing for the Guardians against the probable American League Cy Young award winner Tarik Skubal for the Tigers.
Whoever wins this game 5 will move on to take on the Yankees in the American League Championship Series that is scheduled to begin on Monday at Yankee Stadium.
The Guardians will look to solve the puzzle of Skubal and continue their postseason run.
