The New York Mets punched their ticket to the National League Championship Series after a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday.
Star shortstop Francisco Lindor had the big blow in the game with his 6th-inning grand slam that accounted for all 4 of the Mets runs.
Lindor has been clutch down the stretch for the Mets as he also hit a home run in the last games of the regular season against the Atlanta Braves to clinch their postseason berth.
After the series win against the Phillies, Lindor had a great quote on why he wants to win a World Series with this team.
“I want to win it all. I want to be a team that comes back every 10 years and they eat for free anywhere they go,” Lindor said.

The Mets were underdogs to beat the Braves to clinch a postseason Berth, to beat the Milwaukee Brewers in the wild-card series, and also to beat the Phillies in the National League Division Series.
Lindor appears to be embracing the underdog title as his clutch hits have helped the Mets to advance to their first National League Championship Series since 2015.
Mets fans are experiencing greatness this postseason as Lindor seems to expect himself to come up with the big hits when his team needs them the most.
As the Mets seek their first World Series appearance since 2015, they will have their hands full in the Championship Series against either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the San Diego Padres.
Game 5 of that series will take place on Friday to see who will face off against the red-hot Mets in the NLCS.
