His perfect game performance included 109 pitches and 6 strikeouts in the win against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Braden’s career stats included a record of 26 wins and 36 losses with a 4.16 earned run average and 305 strikeouts in 491.1 innings pitched.
While his career as a whole was not overly impressive, he will always be remembered for his perfect game that day in the Coliseum.
There were countless memories made at the Coliseum over the years, and Athletics fans will always remember the good ones.
The Athletics will end their 2024 season with a 3-game series in Seattle where they will take on the Mariners.
