The New York Yankees have the most World Series titles in Major League Baseball history with 27.
There have been countless great Yankee players, including Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, and Derek Jeter.
When deciding what makes a player a great player, many people will say they need to win championships.
According to YES Network’s MLB analyst Jack Curry says that Aaron Judge has already cemented himself in Yankees history even without winning a World Series.

Judge is having another great regular season in 2024 where he is leading the league in multiple offensive categories.
He is batting .322 with 58 home runs, 144 runs batted in, and a 1.159 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Although Judge has pretty much dominated during regular seasons, his playoff numbers are not quite where he would like them.
In 44 postseason games in his career, Judge is batting .211 with 13 home runs, 25 runs batted in, and a .772 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Curry explains that Judge has already secured his spot as one of the Yankee greats even without a World Series title yet.
He also explains that if you were to ask Judge the same question, he would say that he does need a World Series to cement his legacy.
Judge is 32 years old, and he will have many opportunities to win a World Series, but he will need to transfer his numbers from the regular season over to the postseason.
The Yankees have clinched the American League East and also the best record in the American League.
Sunday will mark the end of the regular season for the Yankees as they prepare for the 2024 playoffs.
