Champaign showers are the first step in any team’s trek to win a World Series Title.
When a team clinches a playoff berth and/or division title, the locker room after the game tends to get a little crazy.
The Clevland Guardians experienced this celebration Thursday as they beat the Minnesota Twins to clinch a spot in the 2024 postseason.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Guardians manager Stephen Vogt addressed his team and began the showers after clinching a postseason berth in his first season as manager.

Vogt offered a piece of advice to his team telling them to enjoy every one of these moments as making the postseason is not an easy task in the MLB.
The Guardians clinched a playoff spot Thursday but look to have the American League Central just about wrapped up as they hold a 6.5-game lead over the Kansas City Royals 8 games remaining.
The playoff berth came after defeating the Twins in back-to-back games that went into extra innings.
With a record of 89 wins and 65 losses, the Guardians seem to have a flare for dramatic finishes.
The Guardians will be appearing in their first postseason since 2022 and will look to get back to their first World Series since 2016.
With their magic number dropping to 3 with the win over the Twins, the Guardians could have the division wrapped up by this coming weekend.
Vogt will look to continue his success in his first season as manager and prove that he not only wins games in the regular season, but the postseason as well.
