The Cleveland Guardians are poised to win their 2nd American League Central division title in the last 3 seasons.
With a 5-game lead over the second-place Kansas City Royals, every win inches the Guardians closer to clinching the division.
Divisional games are the most important games to win for teams if they want to win a division title.
The Guardians accomplished this in dramatic fashion last night over the Minnesota Twins.
According to FOX Sports: MLB on ‘X,’ Guardians Manager Stephen Vogt got emotional when talking about their big comeback win.

The Twins led the game over the Guardians 3-0 at one point before the Guardians eventually won 4-3.
Rookie Kyle Manzardo of the Guardians had the big blow in the 8th inning where he hit a 2-run go-ahead home run.
The big win by the Guardians was made even better with the 2nd place Royals losing to the Detroit Tigers.
Guardians manager Vogt was interviewed after the big win.
Vogt became emotional in his post-game press conference and stated that he loves this team and describes how much fun they are to watch.
The Guardians have a record of 87 wins and 64 losses this season and are seeking their first postseason appearance since 2022.
They have not made it past the divisional round since 2016 when they lost the World Series in game 7 to the Chicago Cubs.
The Guardians are back in action again tonight against the Twins where they look to lengthen their lead in the American League Central with their magic number being 7.
