The Los Angeles Dodgers routed the San Diego Padres in game 4 of the National League Division Series on Wednesday to force a win-or-go-home game 5.
After losing to the Padres 6-5 on Tuesday, the Dodgers responded in typical Dodger fashion on Wednesday with a dominating 8-0 victory.
A notable feat coming out of the last 2 games of this series include Dodgers star Mookie Betts breaking out of his postseason slump that had been covered all over the media.
According to Rowan Kavner of Fox Sports, Betts revealed what he did to help break out of this postseason slump he was experiencing.
He turned off social media. His days consisted of hours in the batting cage.
How Mookie Betts, searching for “positive vibes,” found his confidence and his swing with the Dodgers on the brink.

If anybody was aware of the Betts postseason slump, it was Betts himself.
Betts revealed that he stayed off of social media and instead spent countless hours in the batting cage trying to fix his swing to perform for his team in their biggest games of the season.
It appears that Betts found something in those cage sessions as over the last 2 games of the series, he has 4 hits in 9 at-bats with 2 home runs, 3 runs batted in, 3 runs scored, and only 1 strikeout.
Betts is a leader of this Dodgers squad, and he can be a spark for the entire team when he starts to hit.
The Dodgers will get an off day on Thursday, which will be followed by game 5 on Friday with the winner advancing to the National League Championship Series against the New York Mets.
Betts will look to continue his batting surge and get his Dodgers back to their first National League Championship Series since 2021.
