Major League Baseball is finally getting back underway as Spring Training has begun.
The offseason saw tons of drama as multiple big-name players changed teams, either via trade or free agency.
Some notable players to change teams include Juan Soto joining the New York Mets, Kyle Tucker joining the Chicago Cubs, and Corbin Burnes joining the Arizona Diamondbacks.
While many other notable players changed teams, the big one was Soto, who signed a record-breaking deal worth $765 million over 15 years.
Some may wonder where Soto falls when it comes to the best players in baseball, and MLB Network gave their rankings on the matter.
According to FOX Sports: MLB on ‘X,’ MLB Network ranked the top 10 players in baseball right now.

According to MLB Network’s list, Soto comes in as the fourth-best player in the MLB right now, behind both reigning MVPs and star shortstop for the Kansas City Royals, Bobby Witt Jr.
Most people will likely agree with Shohei Ohtani topping the list as his 2024 season was one for the books and resulted in an NL MVP award.
In 2024, Ohtani played in 159 games where he batted .310 with 54 home runs, 130 RBIs, 59 stolen bases, and a 1.036 OPS.
Aaron Judge is number two on the list and also won an MVP award for the American League.
In 2024, Judge played in 158 games where he batted .322 with 58 home runs, 144 RBIs, and a 1.159 OPS.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Mets are the only teams with multiple players on the list, and it will be interesting to see how all 10 of these players perform in 2025.
