The Houston Astros have been one of the best teams in Major League Baseball over the past 10 seasons.
With a 5-game lead over the Seattle Mariners in the American League West, the Astros are trying to win their 4th straight division title and their 7th in the last 8 seasons.
There are plenty of star players on the Astros roster, but their leadoff hitter Jose Altuve is one of the most well-known.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Altuve reached the 20 home run mark for the 6th time in his career on Sunday.

Altuve hit a solo home run off of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Griffin Canning in the 5th inning on Sunday for his 20th home run of the season.
To go along with the 20 home runs, Altuve is batting .296 on the season with 64 runs batted in and a .787 on-base plus slugging percentage.
After coming into the league in 2011 with the Astros, Altuve has been an integral part of this Astros lineup.
His best season as an Astro came back in 2017 when he won the Most Valuable Player award batting .346 with 24 home runs, 81 runs batted in, and a .957 on base plus slugging percentage.
The Astros have made the last 7 American League Championship Series and have won the World Series in 2 of those seasons in 2017 and 2022.
With a record of 85 wins and 71 losses, the Astros should make the 2024 postseason.
They will lean on their veteran leadoff hitter as they search for their 8th straight American League Championship Series appearance and 3rd World Series Championship.
