There are a few athletes in history who stand out among all the rest and are well-known among all sports fans.
Some of these iconic athletes include Michael Jordan of the National Basketball League and Tom Brady of the National Football League.
Any time an athlete is put into the same category as these high-caliber athletes, you know they are something special.
According to MLB on ‘X,’ Deion Sanders compared Shohei Ohtani to both Jordan and Brady saying he is doing things that we haven’t fathomed.

Brady and Jordan are the faces of their respective sports and Ohtani being mentioned with them could make him the face of Major League Baseball.
Ohtani is doing things in baseball that have never been done before.
This includes being both a Most Valuable Player caliber hitter along with a Cy Young Caliber pitcher when healthy.
Confined to the designated hitter role in 2024 due to Tommy John surgery, Ohtani has become the first player in MLB history with 50 stolen bases and 50 home runs in a single season.
Ohtani appears to be the favorite to win National League Most Valuable Player in 2024 and has done so by not pitching or playing the field.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are atop the power rankings going into the final week of the regular season, and Ohtani is a major reason why.
A clear image of what Deion is talking about comes during last week’s game by Ohtani where he went 6-6 batting with 3 home runs, 2 doubles, and 10 runs batted in.
Ohtani appears to be a once in a generation player and is being noticed by the best athletes in sports history.
