The Los Angeles Dodgers won the National League West for the 3rd straight season in 2024 with a record of 98 wins and 64 losses.
Their record was the best in all of Major League Baseball and gave them a home-field advantage for the playoffs.
Although the season appears to be successful thus far, the Dodgers had their fair share of injuries to deal with throughout the season.
According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts says this has been the most challenging season of his Dodgers career due to injuries.

The Dodgers have had multiple injuries to their team in 2024 including key starting pitchers Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw, and Gavin Stone.
Roberts has had the challenge of finding replacements for these players and continuing to win games.
The Dodgers were helped out at the trade deadline when they acquired starting pitcher Jack Flaherty from the Detroit Tigers.
Flaherty has arguably become their ace for the postseason, and he will start game 1 of the National League Championship Series Sunday against the New York Mets.
Even with the injuries and being the hardest season of Roberts Dodgers career, he was able to lead his team to the best record in baseball and win at least 1 series in the playoffs so far.
The Dodgers offense will be a key factor in the series against the Mets as they will look to Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and company to lead the way.
Roberts is looking for his 2nd World Series title as the Dodgers manager.
