It is one thing to perform well in the regular season, but the MLB postseason is a whole other animal.
Many people speak of the playoffs as the start of a whole new season, and the great players are expected to perform well.
While this is true with every star player in the league, it is especially true with the New York Yankees.
MLB analyst Joel Sherman questions, if Yankees star Aaron Judge, can perform this postseason.

The Yankees have an MLB-best 27 World Championships, and most seasons are considered World Series or bust.
Judge has been a monster in regular seasons but has yet to lead his team to a World Series.
His postseason numbers do not jump out at you as he is batting a .211 with 13 home runs and 25 runs batted in through 44 playoff games in his career.
With all of the great players to wear a Yankee uniform including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Mickey Mantle, Judge is expected to perform in October.
He continues to feast in the regular season where he posts a .321 batting average with 53 home runs and 132 runs batted in this year.
The Yankees hold a record of 87 wins and 63 losses in 2024 and have just about clinched a postseason spot this year.
The question will be, can Judge live up to expectations and handle the pressure in 2024?
Judge will look to end the regular season on a strong note and turn his postseason numbers around as the Yankees seek out their 28th World Series Championship.
