The New York Yankees made it back to the postseason in 2024 as they finished the regular season with a record of 94-68 and won the American League East.
They then made a run to their first World Series since 2009 before losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
This offseason, the Yankees lost outfielder Juan Soto but acquired starting pitcher Max Fried, relief pitcher Devin Williams and outfielder Cody Bellinger.
As the start of the 2025 season creeps closer, manager Aaron Boone was asked what his message is to Yankees fans.
“Buckle up,” Boone said, via YES Network.

Now that the Super Bowl has ended, Boone mentions that it is time for baseball season, and it is an exciting part of the year.
The Yankees answered the devastating loss in the World Series, followed by the loss of Soto, by adding multiple players who are likely to make a big impact this season.
Though the Yankees have 27 World Series titles in their history, they haven’t won one since 2009, but they will look to change that in 2025.
After missing the postseason in 2023 with a record of 82-80, the Yankees went into the 2024 season with what appeared to be a chip on their shoulder.
The team will look to build on their successful season as they seek back-to-back AL East titles for the first time since the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
It will be interesting to see what the Yankees can accomplish with their new-look lineup.
