Blackmon has played 14 seasons for the Rockies and has been a fan favorite for many years.
His best season came back in 2017 where he batted .331 with 37 home runs, 104 runs batted in, and a 1.000 on-base plus slugging percentage.
Over his 14-year career, Blackmon only managed to make the playoffs 2 times in 2017 and 2018.
These playoff appearances included a loss in the wild-card round to the Arizona Diamondbacks and a loss in the National League Division Series to the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Rockies had another disappointing year in 2024 as they have a record of 61 wins and 100 losses heading into the last game of the season.
Blackmon took the field for the last time in his career as the Rockies took on the Los Angeles Dodgers at Coors Field.
Even though the Rockies teams have not been great over Blackmon’s career, he still managed to put up a respectable career.
His career numbers include a .293 batting average with 227 home runs, 801 runs batted in, and a .832 on-base plus slugging percentage.
The Rockies will look to turn things around in 2025 as they will play without Blackmon on the team for the first time in 14 seasons.
