The Los Angeles Dodgers won the eighth World Series title in franchise history by defeating the New York Yankees in five games in 2024.
After finishing the season with another National League West title, the Dodgers earned a World Series championship.
This offseason, the Dodgers improved their roster by adding some key pieces, including starting pitcher Blake Snell from the San Francisco Giants, starting pitcher Roki Sasaki from Japan and relief pitcher Tanner Scott from the San Diego Padres.
With spring training underway, betting odds show the Dodgers as clear favorites to win back-to-back World Series titles.

When looking at the Dodgers lineup, fans can likely see why they are listed as the favorites.
Along with the offense of Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers added two starting pitchers who will likely be impactful in Snell and Sasaki while also adding their likely closer in Scott.
The team to beat in Major League Baseball is clear as day, and it will be interesting to see if anybody can dethrone the reigning champions come playoff time.
The Dodgers have never won back-to-back titles in franchise history, but they will try to change that in 2025.
